Thanks for visiting my blog!

I do love the feel of real books, the way they smell and the way the pages feel.

I haven't tried an e-reader yet so I don't know if I love them or hate them. I do like e-books though because they give me an opportunity to read books that are out of print or books that I couldn't normally find.wutheringwillowhttp://apaperbacklife.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396877035304460865.post-71242054242065975312011-11-10T17:15:51.956-08:002011-11-10T17:15:51.956-08:00I get e-books to review too and I usually read the...I get e-books to review too and I usually read them online. It is becoming really difficult. Maybe I should just stop trying with NetGalley and that. I can understand how you feel, I am still hesitant to buy an e-reader.

Thank you for visiting my blog!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08477174364670502531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396877035304460865.post-84474302679647835202011-11-10T17:07:42.173-08:002011-11-10T17:07:42.173-08:00I'm definitely with you on this one!

I had a lot of friends with just ebooks and I don't like reading a book on my computer--still don't really--so I thought the Kindle would be perfect. Now I prefer reading on my Kindle. I still love hardback books. They're so pretty on my shelves, but they're unhandy to sit and read most of the time for me.

Of course, it wasn't always like that. Pre-Kindle, I loved paper books. Even when I first started with the Kindle, I still read more paper books at first. Of course, when you read a monster Stephen King novel on your Kindle, you really become to appreciate it. ;)

In the end, I just love reading. I don't care if it's on stone tablets, paper, or floating in cyberspace.Cherie Reichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16663147386014122939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396877035304460865.post-30734043628935335892011-11-10T11:52:40.094-08:002011-11-10T11:52:40.094-08:00I can definitely appreciate and respect this opini...I can definitely appreciate and respect this opinion! I used to be EXACTLY the same. I broke down eventually, but I don't blame people for despising e-readers. No e-reader can compare to holding a book in your hands. ^-^Literary Meanderingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00863300455868907547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396877035304460865.post-14722193155540882662011-11-10T11:35:17.034-08:002011-11-10T11:35:17.034-08:00My boyfriend has a Kobo, which I borrowed once whe...My boyfriend has a Kobo, which I borrowed once when I had an e-book I wanted to read. I enjoyed reading it, because it's so lightweight and easy to hold in one hand. I would never give up paper books, but I think e-readers are a nice supplement. I might get one of my own, once they slow down on the constantly-making-a-new-one-that-makes-yours-obsolete thing. I'd love the newest Kobo (the one that's basically a tablet), but it's $200, and that's more than I'm willing to spend.Liannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10426150893408223206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396877035304460865.post-45295600561935761602011-11-10T11:24:59.942-08:002011-11-10T11:24:59.942-08:00E-readers are definitely an acquired taste! It's funny you can read on your phone though. Doesn't the light bother you? I have the Kindle app on my iPod but hardly every use it.
