Follow Friday

It would probably have to be Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. The ending just didn't do it for me. She left too much dangling without explanations. Katniss should not have ended with either boy, which, I think, would have given the story a stronger ending highlighting all the damage that the Games can do, etc.

I would change some things with the story too like some of the deaths :( But of coarse I liked how it ended. I'm a sucker for silver linings and the choice she made was definitely a happy ending for me!
Thanks for stopping by earlier ♥

Found your blog from the Blog Hop. :)

I too would change the end of Mockingjay, if it was only the end I could change. I'd opt for a re-write of the entire book.

Hopping through. I was disappointed with Mockingjay. I didn't mind that K ended up with who she did but I felt it was because she gave up.

Never read these books, but I do remember the angst that was going around the blogosphere about the ending to this one. Never did get my sister's opinion on it since she read them all.

Yeah, the Mockingjay ending wasn't the best for me either!

I agree. I thought the ending relationship felt forced. The way Katniss was portrayed, I would have thought that she'd just choose to go on her own in the end. In the end she comes off as someone who's shattered, yet strong, and looking for something more that what these guys can offer...and then she ends up with one of them.
