A Bit of Me(me)

This Weeks Question: What’s your earliest memory?



One of my earliest memories involves my mom. She was a professional dancer, a prima ballerina in the company she belonged to and she was dancing Swan Lake. My dad and I went ot see her dance, and although I don't remember the performance, I do remember going to see her backstage afterwards. She was in full white swan makeup, with her white tutu and a gorgeous crown of white feathers on her head. I remember her smile so vividly. We still have that crown somewhere around in one of our mementos boxes. She made a beautiful swan. That picture on the left is not from that production but that's my mommy, and that's me in her arms.
