Musing Mondays

This week’s Musing asks…

What’s the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn’t put it down?

Oh, definitely the last book in the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. I was in a mild state of panic, wanting to see how it ended, but not really wanting it to end. By the way, if you haven't read the series yet, you are missing out. yes, it's Stephen King, which might not be in everyone's comfort zone, but I promise you these books are fabulous.

I sound so dull...but I rarely stay up no matter how good a book is. It's all about shift work...lol

Hi, Val -- thanks for dropping by my little cyber place -- I know what you mean about wanting to hurry and up and find out what happens but sad to see it end. The last book I read like that was "In the Company of Others" -- didn't want it to end.

I haven't read a Stephen King in awhile, but I do recall they are captivating. I have one of his on my TBRs called Lisey's Story.

I'm too scared to read Stephen King - and definitely too scared to read his work late at night!

I'm not gonna live, Stephen King has an ongoing history of scaring the hell out of me, but he's brilliant nonetheless. I will have to check out this series simply out of curiosity and the fact that you recommend it. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm following you now too!

I've read almost every Stephen King book out there except the Dark Tower series. Now that they're turning it into a movie, I really should get on it.
