Musing Mondays

This week’s musing asks…

What does it take for you to give up on a book you’re reading?

I almost never give up on a book, however, if the writing is just beyong awful I have to, for my sanity. I get so angry at poor writing that it's not worth the stress. The only other reason which might make me put a book down is if it's incredibly dull.

Yes, poor writing is another good one! I read alot of urban fiction and unfortunately grammar and spelling problems are a huge problem and it's very disappointing!! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I feel like such a quitter! lol

Any more, especially if it is not a review book, if I am not liking it, I move on. Life is too short to waste it reading a bad book.

I agree. I also wont put myself through the torture of bad prose.
Thanks for stopping by :)

I definitely agree. I always try to finish books once I start them, but sometimes I have to put them down.It can be hard when you've heard really good things about a book too, but I usually try to force myself to read them!
