Booking Through Thursday

If your house was burning down and you could save just one book from your collection … what would it be?
(And, for the purposes of this discussion, we’ll allow series to count as “one” long, multi-volume book.)

Probably my Crime and Punishment copy. It's not an expensive book or anything, but it does have sentimental value for me. Plus, it has my notes from the first time I read it on the margins.

Definitely a good choice. It was my beat up copies of books I thought of first. =) There's just something about those books I've reread so many times. I can always buy a new copy but... it's not the same. Good answer. Thanks for stopping by.

I've owned several different copies of C&P over the years, so no attachment to this specific one. But it would be the first replacement purchase I made.
