Musing Mondays

This week’s musing, courtesy of “iamciska.tumbler.com“, asks…
What was the last book you could not finish and why?

I had to look this one up on Goodreads because I couldn't even remember the name. It's Sixty Acres and  Bride by Regina Jennings. I read it as part of a blog tour and just couldn't finish it. It was so dull, with predictable situations and characters who didn't have even a little bit of soul to them. Yeah, not a fun one.

That's terrible. I can't stand when books are predictable with flat characters. I can handle one of those and finish a book, but both... that's rough.
Thanks for stopping by!

Predictability is one of my biggest pet peeves! Give me dark and twisted any day, just don't give me predictable!! :)

I know the feeling, I too, couldn't finish the book I posted about either. I almost always finish books I started to read, but on occasion a bad one hits the never to be finished pile.

Thanks for the visit today.

Nothing worse than bland and predictable.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog!

Sixty Acres and Bride does sound like a dull one.

You know it wasn't good if you couldn't even remember the name. THanks for stopping by yesterday!

That's always awful when it's a book for a blog tour and it turns out to be one you can't finish. It's like, how do you even break it to the author that you couldn't finish their book?

Thanks for stopping by my musing earlier!
