Musing Mondays
This week’s musing asks…
What do you do with the book before you start reading it?
I usually read the back or the inside flaps first, then stare at the cover for a few seconds to decide how I feel about it. And then I read the first few lines, and maybe, if I'm intrigued enough, the author's bio.

I will slap a bookcrossing ID # on it and then read it from cover to cover (unless it bores me), skipping any review snippets or blurbs in the beginning because I like to be surprised.
I do like a good author bio.
I read the author's bio, but its usually in passing.
There isn't much to my reading prep! I like to read the author bios, but I usually do it at the end. My MM: http://whatsontheshelf.wordpress.com/2012/05/21/musing-monday-10/
I like to see if there's an author pic, if it's a new-to-me author. Usually I just dive in.
I pretty much do the same thing.
