Follow Friday
Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you’ve ever read in a book – and how did you react?
I think I've written about this scene before. It's from Immortal Bird by Doron Weber, a book about the author's real experience of living through his son's death. There is one scene towards the end of the book, when the boy is in the hospital for the last time that is heart breaking. I don't cry with books often, but I did with this one.

Have not read this one. But it sounds pretty sad :(
Following you back via GFC! :)
Never heard of this one, like several of the other commenters! But I'm with you - I rarely cry for books. Or get really mad.

Quite honestly, I cry all the time. But, goodness. Books that have to do with children dying and their parents moving on are so heartbreaking. Sometimes I just try to avoid it, like the "The child Called It" with the whole child abuse aspect? I couldn't finish it .. O_O

That one does sound heartbreaking! Luckily not too many of my reads get me actually crying! I'll get sad and feel the pain, sometimes anger as well at who's causing the pain.
I basically feel a variety of emotions with whatever read!

I haven't read it but from what you say it does look like it promises some emotional reaction.
