Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Lungs Full of Noise
From Lungs Full of Noise by Tessa Mellas

"The first day the sky is white, nobody is suspicious. Every so often this happens."

Hi Valentina,

Thank you so much for stopping by Fiction Books today. I love 'meeting' new people and will always value your visits and comments.

I am just wondering what is turning the sky so white that nobody is suspicious, although it sounds as though this never usually lasts for more than one day ... until now!!

I couldn't resist looking this one up and although it doesn't sound like my usual kind of read (apart from anything else I am not really into short stories), I am half tempted by the fascinating and intriguing synopsis to give it a try.

Thanks for sharing,

Yvonne
