This week’s musing asks… What is the last book that you learned something from? What book was it, and what did it teach you?
Well, last week I finished reading a memoir called Triggered. It relates how the author came to realize he had OCD and how he managed, bit by bit, to overcome it. It is a great, honest look at mental illness and I learned lots I didn't know about this particular disease.
If you're interested my review is here.

I am currently reading Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater and the story centers around Scottish/Irish myths of vicious water horses called capaill usice. I am captivated and had to go and find more information about them myself.
Good for you for reading more about mental illness. Its got such a stigma and the more informed people are the better! My husband is mildly OCD, so that sounds like a book we should read! Thanks!
