Follow Friday
Q: Keeping with the Spirit of Giving this season, what book do you think EVERYONE should read and if you could, you would buy it for all of your family and friends?
This is a hard one. There are so many fantastic books that everyone needs to read. I'd have to say Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky. It is such an amazing book. I've read it countless times and I always find it as incredible as the first time.

Oh God Crime and Punishment... hahahah I don't know about that one ;)

I have never read it...Not sure it would be my thing. LOL But maybe one day. I'm not big on all the required reading classics that were always forced upon me in high school. I'm into a more fun read!

Never read it either. I'm more of a paranormal reader now. I use to read some contemporary and the occasional classic, now I can't go back to the normal books, it's all paranormal!
Here's my Friday Hops
Have a GREAT weekend!

This sounds like a really great read! I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Thanks for stopping by. :)
I read this book in high school and really enjoyed it. I remember being so proud that I *chose* to read it, rather than reading it because of an assignment. LOL! Go high school me!
Thanks for stopping by my blog =)
Awesome choice!! I love the Russian authors ~ I was always a fan of Turgenev, myself. Spring Torrents is my favorite of that genre.
Thanks for visiting my blog ~ I'm a new follower now! btw - love your template!! I started off using his stuff but was having problems with my original layout. Still love his art, though!!
Hi, Val!
You've been following me for a while, and I've felt bad, because I haven't been following you...but the thing is, I couldn't find a link to your blog on your profile -- from the time you commented on my blog.
Now I AM following you, because I just found you through the FF hop!
I LOVE your pick for this question!! It's one of my faves, too!! I nearly picked it, but then went with "Jane Eyre" and three other books.
"Crime and Punishment" is an incredible read!! Well, it's a classic masterpiece. I read it years ago, and it left a lasting immpression on me. I felt as if I had actually LIVED through the events in the book!
Although I'm pretty heavily into YA at the moment, my blog is really eclectic, and I LOVE the classics!! So, again, GREAT choice!!
Here's my FF post:

I read this book in college and it was pretty fascinating. I didn't think I would like it, and it was pretty hard to get into it, but it was really amazing. Great selection!

My Follow Friday
I'm a new follower! I had a professor obsessed with Dostoyevsky and to be honest it kind of put me off. He was my favorite prof, but it felt like his obsession with Russian writers seemed to fall under the 'trying to hard' category.
I've never read this. I'm not sure it's my thing. Maybe I could give it a chance.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, I started reading Crime and Punishment earlier in the year and never got back to it. It's clearly amazing, so I am FAIL. I need to pick it back up.
