Follow Friday

Q: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?

I try my very best to stay away from the hard science fiction. I have never been able to enjoy that genre. There are always too many things going on at the same time, too much world-building, to the point of forgetting even plot lines. I have a hard time staying interested through all the textbook style scientific explanations.

I think that is one of my answers as well when I think of it. But I chose Western. :D

I agree with you. Although for me it's not the world-building that distracts me, it's the aliens. The world-building can be interesting, as long as the author doesn't try to get technical on me. Thanks for visiting!

I agree! I like some science fiction and worldbuilding, but not at the expense of the overall story. Thanks for visiting!

Can't do hard sci-fi either! And anything nonfiction bored me to tears in school. A lot of books did actually! Couldn't get into classics despite my english major!

Here's my Friday Hops

Have a GREAT weekend!
