Musing Mondays

This week’s musing asks…

Did you get any books for Christmas? If so, what were they?

If you didn’t, what books are you most looking forward to reading (and/or buying) in the new year?

I didn't get any books for the holidays, which is fine since I have a monstruous TBR pile to get through. Hmm, well, I'm looking forward to reading Bonnie by Iris Johansen. Oh, and The Wind Through the Keyhole, which is a new addition to the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.

I think we all have those huge TBR piles, but that doesn't stop us from adding to our wishlists. We can wish can't we?

Well... I do have a huge TBR pile...but it's even bigger after the holidays. 5 Phryne Fisher series mysteries; 2 vintage mysteries by Frances & Richard Lockridge; 11/22/63 by Stephen King (my first King book...ever!); The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes; The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz; Words for Murder Perhaps by Edward Candy (vintage) and Star Trek & Philosophy: The Wrath of Kant! I think I added another mountain to my TBR range. :-)

Glad you've got some books lined up that you're looking forward to.

I have a very huge TBR pile as well! :)

I've always wanted to read The Dark Tower series. I have bought the first two books but have not gotten around to reading it. Oh well, I better start sometime before Stephen King comes out with a new one after The Wind Through the Keyhole. :)
