Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

From Skating on the Edge by Joelle Charbonneau

"I needed to learn to say no. Saying no wouldn't make me a bad person."

pg. 1 (ARC)

First, that's a really cool-looking book. Is it about roller derby? Second, that quote is soooo true!

I need to learn to say no. I always have an issue with that.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

'No' is near the top of my list of most frequently used words/phrases...

I don't enjoy roller-skating but roller derby (?) makes it seem more fun.

I hope you enjoy reading this and thanks for stoping by!

I haven't heard of this one. Great teaser though :) I agree, saying no def doesn't make you a bad person. Lawd knows I need to learn how to say "no" myself.
