This week’s musing asks…What distracts you when you really “should be reading”?
Well, I have a lot of pets, and they require a lot of attention. My snakes take quite a bit of my time as do my birds. Of course, I really enjoy caring for them so, although many times I should be sitting and reading, I'm cuddling with one or a few of them.
In the picture, you can see me trying to read The Hunger Games while Loki tries to take a nap. He won, of course.

Cool! My dogs and cat distract me too. It must be fun to have snakes and birds! I love the picture of the cute little bird trying to nap on your book! Do your birds fly freely around the house? (We had a parakeet when I was little, and he flew around loose except at night.)
