This week’s Booking Through Thursday question asks…
Do you read book reviews? Whose do you trust? Do they affect your reading habits? Your buying habits?
Surprisingly, I don't read that many reviews. If the story calls to me, I will buy the book regardless of the good or bad critiques. It's funny because sometimes I go searching for the reviews after I finish a book, not before I start. I like to go into a book fresh, to allow myself a fair go at the book, but afterwards I'm interested at what other people thought. There are so many books out there that people hate and I love, or the other way around, that I really try to avoid reading too muich about a book before I start it.
How about you ?

I feel almost exactly the same way! I go looking for the reviews after I've finished a book. I hate knowing too much about a book before I read it and find that most reviewers give away too much information about characters and plots.
