Musing Mondays

This week’s musing asks…

What do you think are the top 5 books every woman should read? (And for the men who might be playing today: What do you think are the top 5 books every man should read?)

I'm not sure I like this question too much. I feel as though every book worth reading is a book that both men and women need to read. So that's what I'll suggest: the five books I think everyone should read.

1. The Posionwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

2. Caribou Island by David Vann

3. The Cranes Dance by Meg Howrey

4. Crime and Punishment by Fryodor Dostoevsky

5. The Egyptologist by Arthur Phillips

I'm glad I not the only one who felt this was a bit strange. Great choices!

Yes, I went a different way on my answer too, but you still picked some great books.

Interesting picks. I've never heard of some of them. Crime and Punishment was definitely a good read.

Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Good answer! I answered the question the best I could but I agree with you. A good book is a good book. It can be enjoyed by both men and women. I would be more comfortable doing a list of the top 5 books everyone should read too.
