Follow Friday

Q: Summer Reading. What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?

Definitely Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I had to read it for my AP English class senior year and it's still my favorite book of all time.

I'd have to pick Into The Wild. Made me cry a little bit. :)

I haven't read Crime and Punishment. But, I hope to someday. I didn't really read when I was in high school, so I missed out on a lot of awesome books that I'm just now discovering.

I'd quite like to read Crime & Punishment - glad to hear you recommend it. Our school reading lists were almost exclusively British literature, with an occasional US work.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I'm a new follower of yours, as well.

I haven't taken on "Crime and Punishment," because it does look a bit daunting, but I have a feeling I'd love it if I did. I did rather enjoy "The Brothers Karamazov."

On a side note, I love your blog background! :)

I still haven't read that! Goodness I need to don't I? It's on my mental TBR list but sometimes I take awhile to get to the classics because I know they'll take more brain power.

My follow friday! Plese visit!

I've never read Crime And Punishment. I tried to make my way through Brothers Karamazov but lost my way even though I was reading with a group. I'll have to, one day, give Crime And Punishment a chance.

I've never read Crime & Punishment. We didn't have AP classes, so no one read anything like that. I should read it sometime. I know there's a reason it's a classic! Thanks for stopping by!

I loved most of the books I had to read for school! My favourite was probably The Outsiders, though. And then my friends and I watched the movie over and over again (we were in grade 8 at the time) and swooned over Rob Lowe. :P
