Musing Mondays

This week’s musing asks…

Other than working at a job, what is your biggest interruption to reading? What takes you away from your book(s)?

I have a lot of pets. A bunch of dogs, cats, snakes, birds, rodents. A little bit of everything. So, of course, taking care of them, making sure they have water and food and everything they need to stay happy and healthy takes up a lot of my time. This is not to say that I don't enjoy taking care of them. On the contrary, they make my days all the more special.
(The lovely in the picture with me is Loki, my mynah bird)

You can keep the snakes, yikes...

Pets do take time to be fed and played with, just like having a child. Cute picture of you and the bird.

Thanks for the visit today.

I'm jealous of your plethora of pets! :) Someday when we aren't renting I hope to have lots of pets to, and when the kids are older haha. I wouldn't have the time now. Beautiful bird and I love his name:) Here's my MM:http://booking-and-hooking.blogspot.ca/2012/04/musing-mondays-apr23.html

That bird is AWESOME. The Song of Ice and Fire book title 'A Feast for Crows' popped into my head! It looks like he is feasting on your hair!

I love animals- I would love to have all the ones you have! What are their names? x

I have two cats, one of which is trying to help me right now. Could not do without pets.

I am an animal lover, too. I have a corgi and a betta fish right now, and soon I will be adopting my sister's cat. My pup can never get enough attention! I even had a snake at one point, but he escaped and the neighbor lady killed him :( That's a cute bird! Thanks for stopping by :)

What a menagerie you have! I can see how they would take up your time. Especially keeping them happy and healthy!

I can't imagine having so many pets! I have just the one cat and she's so demanding lol

Awwww... best answer i've seen so far! I only have a dog and it's so time consuming sometimes, but having so many animals? That must really take a lot of time to care for them...

Pretty bird!

I wish I had a puppy to keep me company while I'm reading. One day I won't live in an apartment, and then I'll have a puppy. :)

Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog!

Mynahs can mimic people and repeat words. Does Loki say anything? BTW, love the name!
