A deceptively easy question for this week (easy to ask but possibly hard to answer): What are/were your favorite book(s) of the year? (Bonus points if you know how many books you read.)
Well, I've read 170 books this year, and although I've read many good ones, I think I have to say that Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn was my favorite this year. It was an incredible read, so well done, and I really can't recommend it enough.
As an honorary mention, I also loved The Cranes Dance by Meg Howrey

I've only heard of Gone Girl. It's on my library wish list. I'll check it out sometime this year, I think. Glad to see it was one of your favorites!
Thanks for stopping by!
I haven't heard of the Crane's Dance, interesting.
I am in the minority, didn't care for Gone Girl.
170 books? I'm jealous! I wish I could read that much! I haven't read either of these, but I've heard good things about Gone Girl.
Amazing to have read 170 books, well done!
Gone girl is on more lists I see, it is on my list to be read next week, so I am hoping I will like it as much as others seem to do.
Kind regards,
I haven't read the 2 you mentioned, but Gone Girl is on my list to read very soon. I just got the audiobook so I'm excited to start.

170 is awesome. Since I've been keeping track, my highest year was 163. I didn't make that this year! I'm not familiar with these favorites, I will have to check them out.
Gone Girl was my top favorite, too. And now I'm curious about Crane's Dance.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
