This week’s musing asks…

Do you have a favorite children’s book? Either one that you loved as a child, or one that you discovered later, and still enjoy? Tell us about it!

One book that captured my imagination because of its complexity and its incredible sympathy with all animals was Cuentos de la Selva by Horacio Quiroga. It's originally in Spanish, which is how I read it, but you can find translations without too much trouble. I recommend it highly.

I haven't heard of this one. When I was little, I really enjoyed The Rainbow Fish and The Giving Tree I found when I was a bit older, I believe.
