Have you ever read a random book left in a waiting room or on a park bench, etc., and did you like it?

I did once, in a doctor's waiting room. I don't even remember what it was, but it did keep me entertained. I think it was a humorous book, which is always a great choice when you're in a cold office, waiting for all the pokes and prods that are on their way.
