Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

From Stress Pandemic: The Lifestyle Solution: 9 Natural Steps to Survive, Master Stress and Live Well by Paul Huljich

"Competition in today's world is fierce. What was once enjoyable becomes infused with a sense of fear and urgency, and then it becomes 'work' and a task to be dispensed with."

It's sad but that sounds like everyday life, work. Sometimes it's just too much. Great teaser and thank you for stopping by!

So true...sigh...I know I am feeling stressed when things I love to do I start considering things I "have" to do. I try to start framing things in an "I want to" or I am happy to instead of I need to - its amazing what a difference it makes.
