Musing Mondays

This week’s musing is about reading…blogs!

As a book blogger, does reading others’ blogs spark ideas for what to write on your own?

Sure. Since I like many of the memes out there, I do take ideas from other blogs. I try not to be an absolute copycat, because that's bad for everyone, but if something sparks my interest and imagination, I will shamelessly "borrow" it.

I think we all take similar ideas and make them our own. We all have a unique voice.

My thought exactly! I may borrow an idea but I will definitely try to make it my own. Wanting to make the world hear my voice is the reason I blog in the first place. Just copying someone else's' thoughts kind of defeats that purpose, doesn't it?

Reading other blogs is a great inspiration for posts. It might take me a long time to get around to my own adaptation, but the ideas are always there, percolating away in myu brain.

Glad to find your blog. Thanks for visiting <a href="www.rosecityreader.com>Rose City Reader</a>!
